The Jury is composed of seven prominent musicians of different nationalities
The Artistic Director will witness the work of the Jury, with no right to vote. The Competition Secretary assures the operational coordination and the record of the work of the Jury.

VIRSALADZE
President of The Jury (Georgia)
Third Prize at the “Tchaikovsky” Competition in Mosca and First Prize at the
“Schumann” Competition in Zwickau, she has been described by the international
press as one of the great contemporary interpreters of Schumann. Heir to the Russian
piano school of Heinrich Neuhaus and Yakov Zak, today she is internationally
recognized as an exceptional teacher whose students have achieved important results
in competitions.

BALDRIGHI
Italy
Director of the “Luca Marenzio” Conservatory of Brescia since 2018, he is an appreciated teacher and pianist, established in numerous national and international
competitions. He is part of the latest generation of pianists trained in the school of Alberto Mozzati, to whom he dedicated the foundation of an Academy.

Heralded as the “Van Cliburn of today” by the BBC, he has placed himself at the forefront of today’s performing musicians, in winning the First Prize in the Busoni, Van Cliburn and Glasgow international piano competitions. He is piano professor at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester (NY) and guest professor at the “Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano”.

Trained at the great piano school of Maria Tipo, he attracted the musical world’s attention at a very young age, when he won the “Dino Ciani” International Competition at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. Since then, he has performed worldwide as a soloist, with the finest orchestras and most-renowned conductor and in various chamber ensembles.

Award–winning pianist in numerous international competitions such as the “Viotti” of Vercelli, the “Cziffra” City of Versailles, he is one of the heirs of the piano tradition of Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli. Theacher of Piano in the Conservatories of Brescia and Milan, now he is teaching in the European Piano High Specialization Academy at the “Romanini” Foundation in Brescia.

After ten years as guest professor in Berlin UDK, he is now teaching in Salzburg Mozarteum since 2012 and Musica Mundi Belgium since 2018.
